Machine embroidery...drawing, but with a needle

It really is like drawing with a needle. Although you do need to take it slowly...At the moment I'm really enjoying embroidering onto wall paper. It works really well because the wallpaper I'm using is soft, I guess, not sure how to explain it. But because its a lovely quality, the paper doesn't tear and I can appliqué on to the top without using an embroidery hoop. Canvas or calico always works well as well. So if you have a sewing machine and it does free machine embroidery, give it a whirl, it really is quite easy and fun! Xxx
