Embroidered Canvas DIY

I thought I'd share a canvas that I've spruced up a bit. I loved this canvas my mum bought for me.

Although I felt it was a bit flat and I want to add a bit of colour. So I had the idea of embroidering into it to add a big of texture and colour.

All you need is an embroidery needle and few embroidery threads in your chosen colour. I just used a simple back stitch to embroider over the top of love and share and I outlined home. I then used a lovely  sparkly Barry M polish to sparkle up home. 

I'm really pleased with how it's turned out and it's an inexpensive way to personalise a cute canvas.
